In advance: Choose target journals
- necessary selection: read few published papers in this journal, it's better done before writing your paper
- one paper can only be submitted to one journal (if detected, you will face severe punishment)
- write for what you read (choose appropriate topic and format for those who read the journal)
Manuscript submission
To whom will your paper be sent?
- the Editorial Board or the Editor’s Office;
- the Divisional Associate Editor;
- the Executive Editor(责编), or a certain previewer, or other particular receiver
- Receipt acknowledgement (a letter that informs the writer of receiving the manuscript and the reply deadline)
- Manuscript referral(审稿)

Manuscript rejection
- Most common reasons for rejection: unsuitable for journal, not timely, too long/short, questionable significance, bad presentation (organization, style illustrations, expression)
